I work in retail. I have worked in retail since I was fifteen years old and I have never had as much fun and feel as accepted as I have while working for Gap inc. My managers are wonderful! They encourage their employees. They never belittle. They are always thinking of ways to motivate us and continually strive to accommodate our needs!
My fellow associates are equally wonderful! It's always a pleasure going to work and I look forward to interacting with them. They are all so different and bring a variety of personalities to the workplace. One in particular just blessed me so much today. Ms. Ellie.
Ms. Ellie is a single mom who does everything she can to make her kid's and grandkids' lives the best they can be. She has four kids. Two of her sons are married with children And she has a daughter with a little girl and her youngest son who all live with her. The lines on her face show the trails she's encountered, but the heart in her chest reveals the kindness and love that flows. She has one of the most tender hearts I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.
She blessed me today. She blessed me just by showing me her heart. I won't go into details, but Ms. Ellie's honesty about her feelings today showed me the tenderness of her heart and the gentleness she possesses. She showed me the loyalty she has to God and a heart willing to serve.
